Henna is an all-natural product that can not only dye your hair, but can restore its strength without the damaging effects of industrial hair dyes. Herbal henna is in powder form and is mixed with lemon juice or water to make a thick paste. It oxidises with anything metallic that comes into contact and so is never applied with a brush or metal tipped bottle, but only mixed in a plastic container with a plastic or wooden spoon, spatula or brush.
